*Age relaxation for OBC/SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen as per Government guidelines. (Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST/PWD candidates will be allowed).

PAY SCALE :

The vacancy is in Wage Group III in the starting basic of the pay scale Rs. 8330 3% - 22000/-. In addition to basic pay, other allowances like Dearness Allowance, HRA, perks @ 40% of basic pay, reimbursement of medical expenses, Provident Fund, Gratuity, etc, as per the rules of the Company will be a part of the remuneration package. The posts require working in shifts and relocation to the quarters allotted by the Company if required.

EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 15 years driving experience of light and heavy vehicles is mandatory. For Ex-Servicemen a minimum of 15 years of service in armed forces is mandatory.

JOB REQUIREMENTS :

Should have valid Driving License under Indian Motor Vehicle Act from the appropriate authority to drive LCV, HMV and passenger buses
Should be physically fit and should be particularly free from colour blindness & epilepsy or seizure disorder
Should have working knowledge of minor repairs in the vehicles.
Should possess Driver etiquettes to suit Sr. Officers including Board Level Directors.

METHOD OF SELECTION:

Eligible candidates will be called for a Skill test and those who clear the same, will be called for a written test. The written test (For shortlisted candidates) will be held at Ghaziabad (UP) only.

APPLICATION FEE:

Candidates belonging to General and OBC category are required to remit an amount of Rs: 300/- towards application fee. SC/ST/PWD candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.

INSTRUCTION FOR MAKING PAYMENT

2. Accept terms and conditions and click on proceed.
3. Select state of Corporation/Institution: - All India.
4. Select type of Corporation/Institution: - PSU - Public Sector Undertaking and press =>Go.
5. Select PSU - Public Sector Undertaking: - Bharat Electronics Limited and press Submit.
6. Select payment category: - DRIVERS AND SECURITY HAVILDAR GHAZIABAD UNIT.
7. Complete the payment as explained above.
8. Take a print of the payment receipt and attach it with the application form.
9. Detail instructions along with screen shots are enclosed.

Enclosures to the application form: The candidates may submit their application along with the photocopies of the following documents:

1. Proof of age.
2. 8th Class Marksheet.
3. Experience certificate/s
4. Community/caste/tribe certificate in respect of OBC/SC/ST candidates. It may be noted that the OBC certificate should be in the prescribed format i.e. Annexure A for appointments to posts under the Government of India and should be dated on or after 01.01.2016.
5. Application fee payment receipt/Bank Challan Copy
6. Filled in Application Form
7. Discharge certificate (in case of Commissioned/Short Service Commissioned Officers)
8. Registration in local Employment Exchange proof.

Candidates working in the PSUs/ Government or quasi-government Organizations/Serving in defence forces should submit their application through proper channel or produce a NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE at the time of the skill test/written test without which they will not be allowed to appear for the written test.

One copy of application and payment receipt may be retained by the candidate for future reference.

The last date for receipt of application is 4th February, 2017

Applications that are not in the prescribed form, incomplete, illegible, without complete enclosures or received after due date and are not meeting the criteria indicate above will be summarily rejected without assigning any reason whatsoever. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained. Candidates may be debarred at any stage of the selection process, if it is found that they do not fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria. Mere short-listing/attendance in the interview does not entitle them to any claim for the post. Canvassing in any form at any stage will result in disqualification. Only Indian nationals need apply. It may be noted that the number of post mentioned above are subject to change depending on the actual requirement at the time of selection.

The admission at all stages of the examination will be purely provisional. Mere issue of admit card/interview letter to the candidate will not imply that his/her candidature has been finally cleared by BEL.

Candidates are required to possess at least one valid e-mail id which is to be entered in the application form. Information pertaining to the physical endurance test/written test will be sent by e-mail only to the id that is furnished. BEL will not be responsible for bouncing of any e-mail sent to the candidate/

If you fail to meet any of the eligibility criteria as stated in the advertisement for the post, your candidature will be cancelled and you will not be allowed to appear for the interview. The decision of the management in this regard would be final. Application fee is non-refundable.
