Qualifications : BE/BTech and ME/MTech in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent either in BE/BTech or ME/MTech and PhD or equivalent, in appropriate discipline. Post PhD publications and guiding PhD student is highly desirable. OR In the event the candidate is from industry and the profession, the following shall constitute as essential: 1. First Class Masters Degree in the appropriate branch of Engg. & Tech. / Applied Sciences 2. Significant professional work which can be recognized as equivalent Ph.D. Degree in appropriate branch of Engg. & Tech. /Applied Sciences, and industrial /professional experience of ten years, out of witch at least five years at a senior level of Assistant Professor /reader, provided that the recognition for significant professional shall be valid only if the same is recommended unanimously by a 3-member Committee of Experts appointed by the Vice-Chancellor of the University.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years teaching and/or research and/or industrial experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor or minimum of 13 years experience in teaching and/ or Research and/or Industry. In case of research experience, good academic record and books/research paper publications/IPR/patents record shall be required as deemed fit by the expert members in Selection committee. If the experience in industry is considered, the same shall be at managerial level equivalent to Professor with active participation record in devising/designing, developing, planning, executing, analyzing, quality control, innovating, training, technical books/research paper publications / IPR / patents, etc. as deemed fit by the expert members in Selection committee. Flair for Management and Leadership is essential.
Pay Scale: Rs.37400-67000 with AGP of Rs. 10,000, plus a Special Allowance of Rs. 3000 per month.
