Walk in interview for Academic Associate, Consultant and Senior Consultant

Eligible candidates are invited for walk in interview to be held on 10th July, 2017 at 10.30 a.m. at Board Room, VC Block, IGNOU, Maidan Garhi, New Delhi for filling up two posts (Full-Time, contractual) of Senior Consultants/ Consultants/ Academic Associates in the Discipline of Economics in School of Social Sciences (SOSS), IGNOU, New Delhi. The Positions are initially for a period of six months, extendable further as per requirement of the University. Remuneration and educational qualifications for the posts are as given below:

Academic Associate

Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 50,000

i) Master Degree in Economics with minimum of 55% marks (50% in case of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category) and NET qualified/ PhD as per UGC guidelines

Consultant

Rs. 40,000 to Rs. 60,000

i) Master Degree in Economics with minimum of 55% marks(50% in case of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category) and NET qualified/ PhD as per UGC guidelines
ii) Teaching/Research experience of about 5-7 years

Senior Consultant

Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 70,000

i) Master Degree in Economics with minimum of 55% marks (50% in case of the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category) and NET qualified/ PhD as per UGC guidelines
ii) Teaching/ Research experience of minimum 10 years
iii) Maximum age limit: 69 years

Job Profile: The nature of work would involve activities pertaining to development of academic programmes in Economics discipline offered by the University. The job would include writing and editing of course material and assisting the Programme Coordinator in day to day activities related to course development.

Notes: 1. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

2. The posts are purely contractual and persons selected will have no right whatsoever for absorption /regularization in the University.
