Subject: Walk-in interview on 10th April (Tuesday) for the post of Junior Research Fellow on a DBT-funded project

Applications are invited from bright candidates with excellent academic credentials for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DBT sponsored research project titled, The role of intracellular calcium signaling in matrix-mediated differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells, undertaken in the Department of Chemical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad.

Period of Appointment

Initial appointment will be made for a period of 11 months, and based on performance, the appointment can be extended.
The full duration of the project is 3 years.

Remuneration

Rs. 25,000 per month

Essential Qualifications

M.Tech or M.Sc in Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Biological Sciences, MS (Pharma) or related areas
Minimum 60% marks throughout, or equivalent CGPA

Desirable

Strong preference will be given for candidates who have prior experience with experimental work in a reputed laboratory
Experience and an interest in mammalian cell culture and/or confocal microscopy is highly desirable

Age Limit

Not to exceed 28 years as on the date of this advertisement
All interested candidates should appear in person for a walk-in interview at Academic Block A, IIT Hyderabad Kandi campus on 10th April 2018 (Tuesday) at 10:00 AM with original hard-copies of the following: full CV, 1 recommendation letter, undergraduate transcripts, degrees and documents for verification of DOB, any other relevant documents (e.g., copies of publications, awards)
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
