Advertisement for the Junior Research Fellow (On Contract)

Title of the Project: Study the Yearly Diversity of the Aquatic Bacterial Communities in the Sangam-Allahabad by Foldscope sponsored by Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science & Technology, and New Delhi. Name of Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Number of Position: 01 (one) Duration of the project: One year (Purely contractual) Age Limit: Maximum 28 Years as on 30/05/2018. Essential Qualifications: B.Tech/BE/ME/M.Tech or equivalent degree in Biomedical/Biotechnology/Life Science related subjects with a valid GATE/NET or similar other national level ranking. Nature of the work: Selected candidate has to perform laboratory and field experiments in the area of biology by using Foldscope. Good writing skill of research papers in journal/conference is also desirable. Fellowship: Fixed Rs. 25,000/-pm (as per DBT norms) Date and Time of Walk-In-Interview: 15/05/2018 at 11:00AM Venue: Board Room, CC-II, IIIT Allahabad

Note(s)

  1. The applicant will be responsible for the authenticity of information, other original documents and photographs submitted during the time of interview.

  2. Qualification and experience may be relaxed for exceptional candidates.

  3. Applicants in employment (private, government or any other organization) are required to submit a No Objection Certificate from the employer at the time of interview.

  4. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in the interview.

  5. This position is purely contractual only for one (01) year.

  6. The association between PI and the candidate can be discontinued at any time by giving one

months notice in writing either by the PI of the project to candidate, or by candidate to the PI

of the project.
