Applications are invited from Indian Nationals only for Project Positions as per the details given below, (for consultancy / research projects, under the Project Co-Investigator Dr.K.Srinivasan, Instrumentation and Control Engineering in National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli-15, Tamil Nadu.

1.	Title of the Project	Electronification of Ground Water Control and Conveyor Systems in Mines.
2.	Funding Agency for the Project specimen	Ministry of Coal, Government of India.
3.	Project Positions and Number	SRF -02, JRF-02 & TA-01.
4.	Qualifications	SRF Masters Degree specialization in Instrumentation/ Control/ Power Electronics/ Computer Science Engineering related discipline and Bachelor degree in EEE/EIE/ICE/CSE/IT. Candidate should have minimum 70% in both UG and PG. Desirable: i. Knowledge in PLC/DCS/SCADA/IOT ii. Candidate having possessing /pursuing Ph.D. degree JRF- Bachelors Degree in Engineering EIE/ICE/EEE/CSE/IT. Candidate should have minimum 70% in UG Desirable: i. Knowledge in PLC/DCS/SCADA/IOT ii. Candidate possessing /pursuing PG degree TA- Diploma in EEE/Instrumentation. Candidate should have minimum 80% in Diploma. Desirable: Knowledge in PLC/DCS/SCADA will be preferable. For all the post preferably age should be less than 30 Years
5.	Emoluments	SRF and Rs. 33,600/- (Rs.28,000/- plus 20% HRA) JRF and Rs. 30,000/- (Rs.25,000/- plus 20% HRA) TA and Rs. 14,400/- (Rs.12,000/- plus 20% HRA)
6.	Duration	18 Months or on completion of the project whichever be the earlier.
7.	Job Description	1. Purchase of Equipments and Components. 2. Setting up of the prototype hardware in the laboratory. 3. Installation and implementation of proposed design in mines and improvisation, modification if any. 4. Testing and performance analysis of the unit in the field. 5. Frequent travel and camp at Neyveli is required.

A. Candidates before appearing for the walk in interview, they shall ensure that they are eligible for the position they intend to apply.

B. Candidates desiring to appear for the walk in Interview, he/she should bring the following necessary documents.

Filled in application in printed form (neatly typed) should be furnished only in the prescribed format.

Experience including research, industrial field and others.

Self attested copies of degree/ certificate and experience certificate

Candidates shall bring along with them the original certificates.

C. Please note that no TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview and no accommodation will be provided at NIT Trichy.

D. Candidate should register personally on 04-04-2018 at EEE Department, NIT Trichy between 8.00 am to 9.00 am. The candidate will be reporting after 9.00 am, will not be considered for interview.

E. Separate application and registration forms are required if the candidate is willing to apply more than one post

F. In case if more number of candidates are registered, the candidate may be stayed one more day on their own expenses and the written test may also be conducted. If the written test will be conducted, then short listed candidate based on written performance will be eligible to appear for interview.

G. Walk in Interview will be held on 04-04-18 at 8.00 am in the department of EEE.

H. The selection committee decision is final. Canvassing any application form, the candidate selection is summarily rejected.
