Call for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the DST SERB Project on

Implementation and Analysis of Coupled Coils at Different Structures with Misalignments for WPT EV Battery Charging

Applications are invited from motivated and eligible candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) for the Department of Science and Technology (DST-SERB), MHRD funded research and development Project on Implementation and Analysis of Coupled Coils at Different Structures with Misalignments for WPT EV Battery Charging.

Essential Qualification

M.Tech/M.E. in Power Electronics and Drives/ Power System/ Energy Systems/ Renewable Systems with thesis in the area of power electronics based system.

Desirable Qualification

Analytical and experimental activities during M. Tech for the development in power electronics based system with concluding understanding, knowledge and experience with technical software/tools (COMSOL, ANSYS, PSIM, MATLAB/SIMULINK) for simulation studies and microcontrollers for the implementation of control techniques.

Fellowship First two years Rs. 25,000p.m. (Consolidated) and third year Rs. 28,000pm (Consolidated).

Duration At the beginning assignment will be for one year, which can later be extended every six months up to completion of project.

Shortlisted candidates will be intimated through email by April 20, 2018.

Shortlisted candidates will have to report for interview on April 23, 2018 (tentative) (10:30AM) in Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, NIT Trichy.

Note 1. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing interview.

2. Candidate selected for this position can also apply for the regular PhD program provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria for PhD program.

3. Decision of Director NIT Trichy will be the final in all respect.
