Position: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under Emeritus Scientist scheme CSIR

CSIR (ES) research project entitled: Climatic stress adaptations in drosophilids: Impact of global warming in the western Himalayas; Project no: 27(0847)/11/EMR-II

Minimum qualifications: NET/GATE qualified with M.Sc. /BE/B. Tech. (Life Science subjects) with specialization in Genetics/Lifesciences with 55% marks.

Preference shall be given to the candidates with theoretical and practical knowledge of Drosophila handling and experimentation.

Salary: Rs. 12,000/-p.m. consolidated.

Age Limit: 28 years as on last date of receiving application (5 years relaxation for female/SC-ST/OBC candidates).

Candidates will be governed by the rules and regulations of CSIR.
