WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

A Walk-in-interview will be held on 05.06.2017 at 11.am in the Department of Botany for selection of one purely temporary position of Research Associate under the project entitled Bioinformatics Infrastructure Facility (BIF) funded by Department of Biotechnology sanction order no. & date of sanctioning the project BT/BI/12/045/2012 (BIF) dated 25/01/2017. Duration*: Up to 30^th September 2017 from the date of appointment. However it may be extended to March 2018 subject to approval by the funding agency. Eligibility: Ph. D. Degree in Bioinformatics/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology plus having 3 years of research, teaching and design and development experience after ME/M.Tech in Bioinformatics/ Computer Science/ Biotechnology with at least one research paper in reputed journal. Desirable: Experience/ interest in Bioinformatics as evidenced from Course work, research work or publications. Emoluments*: Rs. 36,000 (fixed) plus 10% HRA per month.

If a suitable candidate for Research Associate position is not available, then the appointment shall be made for SRF/JRF position as per norms of the funding agency.
