Position: senior research fellow position under Emeritus Scientist scheme CSIR

CSIR (ES) research project entitled: Climatic stress adaptations in drosophilids: Impact of global warming in the western Himalayas

Minimum qualifications: Doctorate/thesis submitted or equivalent degree OR having 3 years of research experience after MSc. The candidate should have minimum four international publications in peer-reviewed journals in Drosophila genetics research each having an impact factor of more than 1.5 (or cumulative impact factor more than 10).

Only candidates having three or four year regular research experience in ecological genetics of Drosophilaneeds to apply. Candidates having research publication in the concerned field would also be preferred.

Age Limit: 35 years as on the last date of receiving application (5 years relaxation for female/SC/-ST/OBC candidates).

Salary: Rs. 14000/-p.m. consolidated
