ADVERTISEMENT FOR POST OF JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW (JRF)

Applications on plain paper, with complete bio-data along with photocopies of the candidates professional and academic certificates, are invited for one post of JRF (Junior Research Fellow) to work in the DST sponsored research project on Behaviour of External Beam- Column Joint Retrofitted Using Confined UHP-HFRC in the Department of Civil Engineering, Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala for a period of 3 years.

Position & Salary	Essential qualifications
Junior Research Fellow, JRF (Engg.) Rs. 25,000/- + H.R.A. (as per norms)	First Class B.E. (Civil) and qualified GATE/UGC-NET or equivalent exam, or First Class M.E./M. Tech. (Structures)*
* The candidates interested in registering for Ph.D. will be preferred

The fellowship is for a period of three years. The fellowship will be offered initially for a period of one year, which can be extended further, depending on the performance evaluation by the committee and will be co-terminus with the duration of the project.

Candidates will be short listed for the interview based on merit and experience of the available candidates and decision of the selection committee will be final.

The date and time of interview will be informed by email only.

No TA/DA will be given to the candidates called for the interview.
