WALK IN INTERVIEW

Department of Horticulture, School of Life Sciences, Sikkim University, Gangtok is looking for candidates to work in the project as a JRF sponsored by Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences, Department of Atomic Energy (Government of India) on Extension in Shelf Life of Indigenous Fruits of Sikkim by Irradiation Technology for Livelihood Security.

Dr. Sujata Upadhyay 01 (One) JRF For initial two years Rs.25,000/per month (consolidated) and in third year Rs.28,000/per month (consolidated) as SRF upon redesignation by committee M.Sc. with 55 % marks in Horticulture/Fruit Science/Postharvest Technology from UGCrecognized university. Desirable qualification is NET and experience in horticultural/fruit science/postharvest/irradiation technology research.

Terms and Conditions:

  1. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

  2. The selected JRF can avail leave as per regulations of Sikkim University and funding agency.

  3. The progress of the candidate will be evaluated on half yearly basis and continuation will be extended subject to the satisfactory performance.

  4. Desirous candidates may appear for Walk-in-Interview along with an application letter, updated bio-data, testimonials and other supporting documents on 20th November, 2017 (Monday) at 9:00 A.M. at the Office of PI, Department of Horticulture, Sikkim
