Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University requires qualified and experienced candidates purely on temporary & contractual basis for the post of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in ENGLISH discipline.

Eligibility :

a) Masters Degree in English with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university. b) Those possessing NET/SLET/SET in English Literature or Ph.D. Degree [awarded/submitted] shall be preferred.

Salary: `.30,000/- per month (consolidated) for Masters Degree holders; & `.40,000/- per month (consolidated) for Ph.D. awarded candidates. Date of Interview: 30th December 2016 Venue: Administration Block Timing: 11:00 A.M.

General conditions:

Interested & eligible applicants should bring their complete CV/Resume/Bio-Data, along with Qualification/Experience Certificates (photocopies duly Self attested along with originals), two self-attested passport size coloured photographs on the aforesaid date and time. No TA shall be admissible to the candidates for appearing in the Walk-in-Interview on 30th December 2016.
