Walk-In-Interview for Guest Faculty

The Walk-In-Interviews for appointing Guest Faculty to teach at UIET, PUSSGRC, Hoshiarpur for the Even Semester (Academic Session 2017-2018) for the following subjects will be held in the office of the Director, PUSSGRC, Hoshiarpur as per the following schedule:

The applicants are required to fill the application form for Assistant Professors available on Panjab University website (http://jobs.puchd.ac.in/forms.php ) (Page 1 to 9).

The candidates should bring all their original certificates and other relevant documents along with the duly filled application form and attested copies of all the certificates/ documents (Two copies each) and two passport size photographs.

Minimum qualification is as under (As per UGC norms):-

i) Good academic record as defined by the concerned university with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) at the Masters Degree level in a relevant subject i.e. (Physics/Mathematics/Economics) from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

ii) Besides fulfilling the above qualifications, the candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR or similar test accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.

iii) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub- clauses i) & ii), candidates, who are, or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the University Grants Commission (Minimum Standards and Procedure for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations, 2009, shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET for recruitment and appointment of Assistant Professor or equivalent positions in Universities/Colleges/Institutions.

The above assignment is on lecture basis with an honorarium of Rs.1000/- per lecture with an upper limit of Rs.25,000/- per month.

Note: -

a) No TA/DA will be paid for the Interview.

b) Candidates are required to be present one hour before the scheduled time for interview.
