One posts of Research Associate and one post of Sr. Research Fellow purely on contractual basis required under time bound projects to be filled up on priority basis. The date of interview and the detailed requirements such as qualification/experience/age and other terms & conditions etc. are available on CPRI website: http://cpri.icar.gov.in . The interested and eligible candidates may download the prescribed proforma and submit their applications along with all enclosures at 9.30 AM on the date of interview to the Head, ICAR-CPRS, Shillong-793009. Copies of the provisional/original certificates/degree of qualifications (from 10th onwards), viva-voce of Ph.D and experience certificates are mandatory with the application.

Research Associates (one)

Essential:

Ph. D in Agricultural Sciences/ Life Sciences

OR

Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences with 4 years /5 years of Bachelor's degree having 1st division or 60% marks or equivalent overall grade point average with at least two years of research experience as evidenced from Fellowship.Associateship/Training.

Desirable:

Two years or more experience in Tissue Culture/ Molecular Biology techniques.

Maximum 40 years for men, 45 years for women.

Rs. 40,000/- plus HRA for candidates with Ph.D (on the basis of PDC)

Rs. 38,000/- plus HRA for candidate with M.SC. (on the basis of PDC)

Sr. Research Fellow (one)

Essential:

Master's degree in Agricultural Sciences with 4 years /5 years of Bachelor's degree.

OR

Candidate having postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 yearts Bachelors degree and 2 years Masters degree should have NET qualification

OR

Ph.D in relevant subject.

OR

Candidates having Masters degree in Basic Sciences and have qualified NET and have 02 years research experience.

OR

The Masters degree holders with the intergrated degrees like B.Tech. & M. Tech. (5 Years) in the relevant subject.

Desirable: One year or more experience in Tissue Culture/ Molecular Biology techniques.

Maximum 35 years for men, 40 years for women.

Rs. 25,000/- plus HRA

(Age relaxation will be given to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per rules)

Interested/eligible candidates may submit their applications in the prescribed form available on the website along with the attested copies of certificates for educational qualification (10th onwards), provisional degree of Bachelors/Masters/certificate of viva-voce of Ph.D is mandatory/experience certificates and one passport size photograph to the Head, ICAR-CPRS, Shillong-793009 at 9.30 AM on the date of interview (Separate application is required for each post). The candidates appearing for interview must bring all the original certificates with them and only those candidates possessing essential qualification as per advertisement will be interviewed. The Director, CPRI, Shimla reserves the right either to fill up the post or cancel the interview without assigning any reasons thereof. No TA/DA will be given by the Institute to candidates. The Institute is located at 5th Mile Upper Shillong Meghalaya, on the way to Shillong Peak.
