NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for selection as Assistant Professor (Contract) in the following disciplines at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Thrissur.

NET qualification in the concerned discipline is essential. However candidates without NET can also apply. But their candidature will be considered only in the absence of candidates with NET. Proficiency in Malayalam is essential. Experience in Agricultural Extension activities is desirable.

Terms & Conditions

1. The appointment will be purely provisional for a period of one year or till the appointment of regular hands or the abolition of the post to which the candidate is appointed, whichever is earlier.
   
   
2. The candidate will have no claim in the University other than the consolidated pay attached to the post. They will have to execute a bond in the prescribed format on joining duty. They will not have any other claims for future appointments in the university or any other service benefits.
   
   
3. Age of the applicant should not be above 40 years as on 01.02.2018. Age relaxation as per existing Government Rules will be granted to eligible candidates.
   
   
4. Attested copies of Certificates in proof of educational qualification, experience, age, date of birth along with original documents and publications should be produced at the time of interview.
   
   
5. Provisional / Original Masters degree certificate should be produced for the interview. Course completion certificate will not be considered at all.
   
   

Qualified candidates will be called for an interview to be held at KVK Thrissur. If there are more number of applicants, written test will be conducted. Last date for receipt of application is 10.03.2018 at 05.00pm. Date of Interview/written test will be intimated through E-mail and also will be available in KAU website
