(Teachers and Officers)

Online applications are invited for recruitment of Teachers and Officers (posts may be increased or decreased at the discretion of the University) in the University as per advertisement detailed below. Facility for filling up of online application form shall start from 10:00 AM of 23.10.2017. The last date of fill up of online application is by 04:59 PM of 30.11.2017. Reservations on various posts shall be applicable as per prevailing rules.

The candidates will also have to send a hard copy of filled online application form along with a set of self attested photo copies of all documents by registered / speed post to the Registrar, Agriculture University, Borkhera, Baran Road, Kota 324 001 (Rajasthan).

Candidates are also required to keep a hard copy of online submitted application form which shall be required to be brought by the candidate, if called for, at the time of interview / short listing as the case may be along with all original documents, testimonials, reprints etc. with a set of self attested photocopies of all. The application fee is Rs. 1500/- (The application fee for SC/ST/Specially Abled Persons would be reduced to 50%).

Those candidates who have already applied in response to this University advertisement No. AUK/2017/01 dated 05.06.2017 need not to apply again for the same post and subject of this advertisement except Subject Matter Specialist (Home Science).

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS AND CONDITIONS

(For Teachers and Officers)

1. Reservation and other relaxations / exemption of application fee for Specially Abled Persons shall be made as per Govt. of Rajasthan rules.
2. Initial appointment on the post of Assistant Professor or equivalent post and Subject Matter Specialist/ Technical Officer/ Assistant Registrar would be made as probationer trainee for a period of two years and person would be governed by the Govt. of Rajasthan Notification No.F.1(2) FD/ Rules /2006 dated 13.03.2006, F.12 (6) FD/(Rules)/05 dated 13.03.2006, F.12 (6) FD/ Rules/ 2005 dated 23.09.2014 and F.12 (6) FD/Rules/2005/ Pt. II dated 16.03.2015 as amended by Govt. of Rajasthan in this behalf from time to time. The fixed remuneration payable during the period of probation trainee would be Rs. 24030/- fixed to Assistant Professor and 22180/- to Technical Officer / Subject Matter Specialist / Assistant Registrar per month (or revised by the Government of Rajasthan).
3. However, a candidate who is already in regular service in the State Governments/ PSU/ University /Board/ Local Authority/Institution, if selected on any post or if selected on any other post in the same University, may be given the option to get fixed remuneration for the new post or pay of the previous post held in Central/State Government/ ICAR/ PSU/ University/ Board/ Local Authority/ Institution, whichever is beneficial, during the period of probation, provided that the pay paid to him/her shall not be more than the pay that he/she would be entitled to draw on the day of joining the new post had he/she joined the new post on the date that he/she joined the old post. After successful completion of probation period his/her pay may be fixed as per rules treating him/her as an existing employee.
4. Further, the post higher than the entry post of the State Service/University i.e. Professor, Associate Professor, Senior Scientist and Head and equivalent on which direct recruitment is permissible as per the provisions of relevant Rules and where besides academic and professional qualification, specific experience condition is also prescribed, the appointment on these posts will be made on Probation for a period of one year instead of as Probationer Trainee for 2 years.
a. Provided further that a person who is direct recruited on a post higher than the initial post of the State Service/University i.e. Professor, Associate Professor, Senior Scientist and Head and equivalent for which besides academic / professional qualifications some experience has been prescribed, shall be on probation of one year and allowed the minimum pay of the post as prescribed in the Rules.
b. Provided further also the Government/ University servant who is already in regular service of the State Government / University, if appointed by direct recruitment on a post higher than the initial post of the State service/ University on probation of one year and the pay last drawn by him/her is higher than the minimum pay prescribed for the new post, his/her pay will be fixed in the running pay band of the new post at the equal stage with reference to the pay of the previous posts and grade pay of the new post.
c. Provided further also that a person who is already in regular service of the Government of India and other State Government including institutions of Government of India and other State Government / University, if appointed by direct recruitment on a post higher than the post last held under the previous employer and on a post higher than the initial post of the State Service on Probation and the pay last drawn by him/her is higher than the minimum pay prescribed for the new post, higher pay will be fixed in the running band of the new post at the equal stage with reference to the pay of the previous post and grade pay of the new post.
5. A relaxation of 5 % will be provided (from 55 % to 50 %) in the marks, at the Masters level for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer) / Specially abled candidates. (This may include other such additional or sub categories declared by state government.)
6. For the employees appointed on or after 01/01/2004, the New contributory Pension Scheme and all other rules as amended by the Government of Rajasthan in this behalf from time to time (F.13 (1) Finance/ Rules/ 2003 dated 06.05.2004) shall be applicable.
7. The candidates will have to send a hard copy of application filled online along with a set of self attested photo copies of all documents by post to the Registrar, Agriculture University, Borkhera
Baran Road, Kota 324 001. The envelope containing hard copy of application should be super scribed with APPLICATION FOR THE POST ..
8. Reservation shall be provided to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Rajasthan Universities Teachers and Officers (Selection for Appointment) Act, 1974, (Act No.18 of 1984), as amended from time to time, for bonafides of Rajasthan State, as per Government of Rajasthan directives. The candidates belong to OBC must submit their caste certificate issued recently (Not before six months).
9. The binding of the number of children on prescribed date as notified by the Govt. of Rajasthan shall be applicable. An affidavit on prescribed format regarding number of children as per Notification of Govt. of Rajasthan is required to be attached with application.
10. In case of any inadvertent mistake in the process of selection which may be detected at any stage even after the issue of appointment letter, the University reserves the right to modify/withdraw /cancel any communication made to the candidates.
11. The In- service candidates are also required to get the hard copy of their application forwarded through proper channel or bring NOC at the time of interview or when required if called. Those already employed in State Govt / Central Govt / Boards / Local Authorities etc. should submit their pay certificate for their pay protection, if required.
12. No hard copy of application shall be considered for any post by the University if candidate has not submitted online application.
13. Any type of influencing will be treated as disqualification.
14. A candidate, furnishing fake or incorrect or false information/documents or suppresses material information, will be disqualified, and/or if appointed, will be liable to dismissal from service without prior notice.
15. E-mail address and Mobile number in the application form is a must. The candidates may be given directives/information/call letters etc. through their e-mail only. However, the call letter shall be sent through registered post also. No other form of communication will be used in further course of action.
16. The University will not be responsible for any delay on account of problems of software, internet connectivity, payment gateway etc.
17. The University reserve rights to increase or decrease the number of posts maintaining the reservation roster.
18. The University reserves the right not to fill up any or all posts advertised and no claim can be made against the same by any applicant.
19. If the number of candidates possessing minimum qualifications is large, the University reserves the right to short-list the candidates/screen the applications, as per norms to be fixed by the University. The University may fix the criteria to short-list candidates to be called for interview according to number of posts and category.
20. The candidates are advised to see guidelines and Score-Card on the University website http://aukota.org/ or http://aukiums.com before filling the application form. They are required to follow online instructions with utmost care to avoid any error in filling up.
21. If online filled application is incomplete in any respect, will not be considered.
22. The Plan/Scheme posts are co-terminus with the Plan/Scheme.
23. The required fee is to be deposited on line either through Net Banking / Debit card / Credit card options as per instructions mentioned thereon.
24. If any candidate or person holds any complaint or grievance with regard to the present requirement, he/she may apply to the Vice-Chancellor, Agriculture University, Kota by filling proper representation. The representation can also be sent on the e- mail address of Agriculture University, Kota to Vice-Chancellor. Decision with regard to grievance shall be taken by the Vice-Chancellor or any person(s) authorized by the Vice-Chancellor. Decision of Vice-Chancellor on any complaint or grievance shall be final and binding.
25. The University has also arranged a help line in case candidates feel any difficulty; they may seek guidance on telephone number 0744-2340049 only on all working days between 11:00 AM to 04:00 PM.
26. The candidates are required to online submit/attach the photo copies of all self attested documents, testimonials, certificates, reprints etc. with application. However, in case of publication, whole texts need not to be attached. Attach only first page showing the necessary details of publication like title, author(s), date, year of publication and name of Journal/Publisher etc.
27. On line filling up of application by candidates shall mean that he / she agreed to and accepted all the process and condition laid down in the general note above.
