subordinate office of Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, (Department of Agriculture, Cooperationand Farmers welfare) on deputation (including short term contract) basis. Details of the post, eligibilityconditions etc. are given in the Annexure I (vacancy circular). The pay of the officer selected for appointment

on deputation (including short term contract) basis will be regulated in terms of DopT's oM No. 2/2g/gt-Estt.(Pay.lli dated 05.01.1994 and its sub:rquent orders issued from time to time.

by an officer not below the rank of Under Secretary); (iii) Vigilance Clearancg/tntegrity Certificate/Cadre Clearance Certificate; and (iv) Statement giving details of major or minor penalties imposed on the officer, if any, during the last 10 years (Annexure-ilt) .

(i) Degree in Electronics Engineering or lnstrumentation Engineering from a recognised university or institution.

(ii) Three years' experience in handling independently installation, calibration and maintenance of electronics and electrical instruments for automatic measurement and controls, experience in handling strain gauge, sound and vibration equipment etc. From Central Government or state governments or union territory administrations or public

sector undertakings or agricultural universities or recognized research institutions or councils or semi-government or autonomous or statutory organisations. Or

(B) (i) Masters' degree in Electronics Engineering or lnstrumentation Engineering from a recognised university or institute;

(ii) One year experience in handling independently installation, calibration and maintenance of electronics and electrical instruments for automatic measurement and controls, experience in handling strain gauge, sound and vibration equipment, etc., from Central Government or state governments or union territory administrations or public sector undertakings or agricultural universities or recognized research institutions or

councils or semi-Government or autonomous or statutory organisations. Desirable: One year experience in instrumentation for testing of lC Engines and exhaust emission measurement system.

Note 1-The Departmental Officers in the feeder category who are in dire& line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationists shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.

Note 2-For the purpose of appointment on deputation, the service rendered on a regular basis by an gfficer prior to the 1" January,2A06, i.e,, the date from which the revised pay structure based on the Sixth Central Pay Commission recommendations has been extended, shall be deemed to be service rendered in the corresponding grade pay or pay scale extended based on the
