Applications are invited for the post of a Project Assistant in a DST-INSPIRE Faculty project entitled "Regulation of insulin/insulin like growth factor signaling in mammalian brain by chaperones" sanctioned to Dr. Tanushree Banerjee at the Department of Biotechnology.

Total Post : 1 (Open)

Duration : One year (likely to be extended till the tenure of the project)

Qualifications: Project Assistant: Minimum eligibility criteria include good academic record throughout (minimum 55% marks in Bachelors and Masters degree) with M.Sc./B.Tech/M.Tech in Life Sciences/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/ Zoology/ Neuroscience/ Microbiology/ Bioinformatics/ Biomedical/Genetics/Biophysics.

NET/GATE qualification and research experience holders (experience in animal cell culture and molecular biology techniques) will be preferred.

Total emoluments : Rs. 12,000/- p.m. consolidated will be paid as per the rules.
