ADVERTISEMENT FOR WALK-IN-INTERVIEW FOR THE POST OF LIBRARY ASSISTANT & JUNIOR LIBRARY ASSISTANT

NIT Manipur intends to hold a Walk-in-interview for the following post on 6th February, 2018 at 2:00 P.M in the Conference Hall, NIT Manipur, Langol.

Interested eligible candidates may attend the interview as per above mentioned schedule with all their original certificates / mark sheets with self-attested photo copy of each of it and a recent passport size photograph along with the updated Bio-data. No TA/DA would be provided for attending interview. The candidates not fulfilling eligibility criteria wouldnt be considered for selection process.

Post:

Library Assistant: 02 (two) nos.

Junior Library Assistant: 01 (one) no.

Essential Qualification: Bachelor of Library & Information Science or Master of Library & Information Science

Experience: Candidates having at least 2 (two) years experience will be preferred

OR

Desirable:

Experience in Library Automation / knowledge of computerization of Library.

Consolidated pay: (1) Library Assistant Rs. 15,000/- p.m.

(2) Junior Library Assistant Rs. 12,000/- p.m.

Upper Age limit: 27 years. Relaxable as per GoI norms.

The engagement is purely on temporary and contractual basis for a period of 6 (six) months. The contract may be terminated by either side by giving one months notice.

Library Assistant/Junior Library Assistant shall be governed by the rules and regulations in force in the Institute from time to time.
