The Finance Head will be responsible for:

• Providing proactive leadership & management to drive execution and operational excellence across the finance function within DVNTB. This includes analysis, recommendations, implementation, and maintenance of all financial management and financial control policies and procedures.

• Financial control, budgeting and planning, tax, Full P&L calculation and analysis, presentation of the business results of the Digital Venture to the banks board through Head Digital/Chief Financial Officer of the Bank, managing all expenditures including the investment expenditure of DVNTB and supporting and driving new product development and management information systems.

• Contributing as a member of the senior management teamofDVNTB responsible for the operational and financial performance of DVNTB.

• Providing strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the venture; i.e., evaluation of potential alliances, acquisitions, and/or mergers as well as the operational effectiveness.

• Acting as a liaison with the Head Digital, providing comprehensive perspectives on unique industry issues and financial trends as well as consult with the Head Digital on financial, compliance and regulatory matters of material importance.

• Ensuring financial policies and procedures are consistent and in accordance with regulatory requirements.

• Leading financial compliance efforts in accordance with regulations and requirements and ensuring compliance of regulatory and statutory compliances.

• Ensuring that the appropriate financial and management information systems are in place in order to provide best-in-class financial reporting.

The Finance Head must possess exceptional leadership qualities and management capabilities and have a demonstrated track record of leading people to perform. The successful candidate will have deep product expertise and strong management competencies. This role requires a blend of technical competence and a strategic/commercial orientation.

• A seasoned business leader and financial executive with a reputation for operating with the highest ethical standards.

• A strategic thinker with exceptional technical skills, analytical ability, superb judgment and strong operational understanding of financial products and risk.

• Knowledge of relevant legal, regulatory and statutory requirements in India.

• Strong communication skills and proven experience dealing with analysts, regulatory and rating agencies and the press.

Strong academic qualifications, including a CA/MBA or equivalent degree.
