IIM Sambalpur invites applications for the position of Placement and Training Consultant

IIM Sambalpur seeks to engage an experienced and qualified individual consultant who would drive and manage the placements and at the same time engage with various companies/ organizations for a fruitful corporate-academic engagement.

Mode of Appointment: On contract for one/two year, extendable based on performance and requirement.

Remuneration: As per qualifications and experience.

Qualification: Masters Degree in Business Administration or equivalent from a reputed institution, with additional qualification/experience of handling placement related work. Formal qualification in Marketing and Public Relations will be highly desirable. Good academic record and communication skills as well as good working knowledge of computer operations and applications is preferred.

Experience: Past experience of at-least three years in similar position from management institutions/ B-Schools where PGDM courses are conducted will be preferred.

Age: Preferably below 45 years.

Functions:

Corporate communication/networking for relationship building with public/private sector companies and other recruiters.

Developing and maintaining database of prospective recruiters of PGDM students.

Coordinating activities of Students Placement Committee for both internship and final placement.

Developing, coordinating and maintaining database of industry expert guest faculty database of PGDM and executive training programmes.
