Applications are invited for the post of RA in a CSIR sponsored Emeritus Scientist project
(sanction letter No. 21 (0963)/13/EMR- 11. dated: 29-10-2014) entitled ''Molecular
characterization of immunomodulatory Protein(s) of human filarial parasite Brugia malayi"

Ph.D. in Microbiology / Biotechnology / Zoology / Life Sciences (excluding Butarry and allied areas).Preference will be given to candidates having experience in the subject area of Helminthology especially filariasis, immunology, molecular biology and cell culture. The candidate should be capable of conducting research work independently. Stipend: Rs 36,000+HRA as per CSIR rules. Note: The project is likely to be extended for 2 years i.e .Jan. 2018-Dec. 2019. |
The position is purely temporary and is co-terminus with the project. The fellowship stipend, terms and conditions will be as per CSlR guidelines.
The upper age limit for RA shall be 35 years, as on the day the application is made. A small relaxation in age limit may be considered in the case of applicants who are suitably qualified and experienced on the recommendations of the Selection Committee. The upper age limil is relaxable upto 5 years' in the case of candidates belonging to scheduled castes/ tribes/OBC. and women. and differently abled candidates.
The cand idates are requested to attend the walk-in-in terview along with an application on plain paper with full details (name. address. qualifications, experience. age. e-mail ID. contact number etc.) and also bring all the original certificates. The candidates are requested to submit their application with a set or photocopies of all above documents by 1.00PM on June 3.2017.

The award of fellowhip/associateship does not imply any assurance or guarantee for subsequent employment by CSIR or at the institution where he /she is working. If a Fellow/ Associate is
reported to have been lacking in his or her research assignment. the fellow hip /associateship is liable to be terminated by CSIR.
