NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited from the eligible candidates for the following posts on contract basis in the project entitled Identification of Modulators, Predictors and Convergent Trends (IMPACT) of suicide attempts in urban and rural Indian settings: A multi center study under Dr. Senthil Kumar Reddi, Addl. Prof. of Psychiatry and Principal Investigator.

1. Senior Research Fellow

Emoluments	Rs.28,000 per month plus 30% HRA.
Work location	NIMHANS, Bangalore, Thirthahalli, Karnataka
Field Visit	Yes
This position Involves	a) Preparing Manuals and operational guidelines b) Coordinating the project work c) Coordinating the Research activity work d) Keeping regular touch with patients e) Follow-up visits , performing research assessments f) Writing letters g) Administrating and staying in Thirthahalli also may be required
Qualification	Essential qualification: One of the following degrees is essential These Qualification are in accordance to the Official Memorandum from Government of India, Ministry of Science and Technology, Department of Science & Technology with OM no: SR/S9/Z-09/2012 dated: October 21, 2014 1. M.Phil in Psychiatric Social Work form a recognized institute. 2. M.Phil in Clinical Psychology from a recognized institute. 3. Experience of working in rural communities with persons with severe mental illness will be desirable. 4. Candidates should be well versed with Kannada language. 5. 5. Two years research experience as JRF. 6. Desirable qualification: English and one extra south Indian language
Maximum Age limit	35 years
Duration of the Project	1 year
Tenure of appointment	Initial appointment will be made for a period of six month and the same will be renewed depending upon the performance of the candidate.
