1. A recruitment rally (based on ONLINE REGISTRATION) for Soldier General Duty (Sol Gd), Sol Technical (Sol Tech), Soldier Tradesmen (Sol Tdn), Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical (Sol Clk/SKT) and Sol Nursing Assistant (Sol NA) for Six districts (Agra, Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Firozabad, and Kasganj will be held at Anand Engineering College, Agra. All eligible candidates should report, alongwith requisite certificates and photographs, at rally site at 0200 hrs on the dates as per rally programme given at the under mentioned paragraphs 9.

PART-I

2. Eligibility Conditions.

(a)
Soldier General Duty (Sol GD) incl Sol GD (IDG).
(i)
Age. 17 to 21 years as on 01 Oct 2017. Candidate will be screened as per cut off dates mentioned in Rally Programme (Leaflet) as per paragraphs 9.
(ii)
Education Standard. (aa) Minimum Matric/SSLC/10th Class pass from recognized Education Board/ Institutions with minium 33% marks in each subject (notapplicable in additional subjects) and 45% marks in aggregate with the exception that the candidates from Sampurnanand Sanskrit Vishwa Vidyalaya, Varanasi, in addition must have passed Purva Madhyam with English as compulsory subject. Candidates passed in supplementary exams possessing requisite percentage are eligible. It is also clarified that the indls who have edn certs issued by Hindi Sahitya Sammelan Allahabad upto 31 May 2013 only will be considered for enrolment. Any cert issued after 31 May 2013 will not be considered for enrolment. (ab) Education Boards With Grading System. Minimum of D grade (3340) in individual subjects or grade which contains 33% and overall aggregate of C 2 grade (41-50) points is considered eligible for recruitment as Soldier GD incl IDG with marks stipulation. (ac) 10+2/Intermediate pass or more need not have 45% marks in Matric/ SSLC/10th.
(b)
Soldier Clerk/Store Keeper Technical (Clk/SKT).

Age. 17 to 23 years as on 01 Oct 2017. Candidate will be screened as per cut off dates mentioned in Rally Programme (Leaflet) as per relevant paragraph 9.

(i) Education Standard. (aa) Minimum 10+2/equivalent pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% in aggregate and 50% in each subject from Education Boards/Intermediate Institution recognized for enrolment. The candidate should have studied and passed English and Math/Accounts/ Book Keeping at 10th or 12th level. If candidate is graduate with Math and English as his subject in BSc, the stipulation of scoring 50% in Cl X/Cl XII is waived off. In case candidate is graduate but not having English and Math/Accts/Book Keeping, he should have secured more than 50% in English & Math/Accts/ Book Keeping at least once in Cl X or Cl XII. (ab) A candidate who has mandatory qualification with laid down percentage will be accepted even if he has passed in supplementary exam for 10+2/Intermediate.

(c) Soldier Technical (Including Aviation/Ammunition Examiner Trade).

(i)
Age. 17 to 23 years on 01 Oct 2017. Candidates will be screened as per cut off dates mentioned in Rally Programme (Leaflet) as per relevant paragraph 9.
(ii)
Education Standard (Soldier Technical).

(aa) Minimum 10+2/Intermediate exam passed in science with English. Physics, Chemistry and Math with 50% in aggregate and 40% in each subject from Education Boards/Institution recognized for enrolment.

(iii) Education Standard (Soldier Technical Aviation and Ammunition Examiner).

(aa) Minimum 10+2/Intermediate exam passed in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with 50% marks in aggregate and 40% marks in each subject . OR Three years Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Automobiles / Computer Science Mechanical Engineering and Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering) from a recognized Polytechnic Institute.

(d)
Soldier Nursing Assistant (Sol NA & Sol (NA VET)
(i)
Age. 17 to 23 years as on 01 Oct 2017. Candidates will be screened as per cut off dates mentioned in rally programme as per relevant paragraph 9.
(ii)
Education Standard. (aa) Minimum 10+2/Intermediate exam passed in science with Physics, chemistry, Biology and English from Education Boards/Institutions recognized for enrolment as compulsory with 40% marks in each subject and a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. (ab) In acse of a graduate having BSc Degree (Botany/Zoology/Bio Science) and English (Simple Pass) the stipulation of percentage in class 12th is not mandatory. (e)
Soldier Tradesmen (Tdn).
(i)
Age. 17 to 23 years as on 01 Oct 2017. Candidates will be screened as per cut off dates mentioned in rally programmed as per paragraph 9.
(ii)
Education Standard.

(aa) Minimum 10th Pass. Chef Community, Steward, Washerman, Dresser (Barber), Kennelman, Painter, Tailor, Equipment Repairer (Support Staff), Saddler (U), Artisan (Metallurgy) and Artisan (Wood Worker).

(ab) Minimum 8th Pass. House Keeper (Safaiwala), Mess Keeper and Syce.

  1. Physical Standards. Physical Standard (Height, Weight and Chest) are given below :-

  2. Visual Standard. The visual standard should be For Infantry Soldier GD, Drivers (Other than Animal Transport Drivers), General Duty (AFV), Gunner (GD) (Army Air Defence) DMT, DS, DPMT and Military Police, the visual standards will be 6/6 for each eye (Uncorrected without glasses or contact lenses). For all other categories, visual standards will be Not less than 6/12 each eye or Right eye 6/6 and Left eye 6/24 in right handed and vice versa in left handed

(iii) The certificate issued by Sports Authority should not be older than 2 years.

PART-II

Recruitment Procedure.

6. Stages of Recruitment. Recruitment procedure from screening to enrolment of a candidate consists of the stages as under :

(a) All candidates will register themselves ONLINE on joinindianarmy.nic.in.com site.

(b) All candidates will download their ADMIT CARD 15 days before they come for screening.

(c)
All candidates will paste a passport size photograph on the top right hand corner of the admit card and self attest it.
(d)
Photocopy of Aadhar Card and PAN Card to be attached alongwith admit card.

NOTE : NO CANDIDATE WILL BE ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE RECRUITMENT PROCESS WITHOUT HIS ADMIT CARD

(e) Stage-I : Screening.

(i)
Pre-Height Check : Height Bar.
(ii)
Checking of Admit card by BAR CODE READER.
(iv)
Stamping of Admit card.
(iv)
Physical Fitness Test (PFT):1.6 Km Run, Beam (Chin up), 9 Feet Ditch and Zig-Zag Balance.
(v)
Physical Measurement Test (PMT) : Height, Weight and Chest measurement with Aadhar link checking.

(vi) Documentation check and interview by Director Recruiting.

(vii) Medical examination.

(viii) Interview by host director and issue of admit card for CEE.

(f)
Stage-II : Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
(g)
Stage-III : Evaluation, preparation of merit list and arms allotment.
(h)
Stage-IV : Dispatch to the Training Centre.

7. Requirement of Certificates and Photographs. As a rule, no provisional screening will be done in the absence of original certificates. Candidates must bring the following certificates in original :

(a)
Essential.
(i)
Education Certificates including Sanad (with photographs affixed) and Marks Sheet.
(ii)
Permanent Residential Certificate (with photographs). Photographs on the Permanent Residential Certificate should also have round stamp of DM/SDM duly initialed.
(iii) Caste Certificate (essential for all castes).
(iv)
Character Certificate from Gram Pradhan/Sadhasad(issued within last six months).
(v)
Marriage Certificate (Applicable for all candidates i.e, Married/Unmaried).
(vi)
Aadhar Card and PAN Card.
(vii) In addition to above documents candidates must bring three sets of photocopy of all documents.
(b)
Other Documents, if held.
(i)
National Cadet Corps (NCC) Certificate.
(ii)
Sports Certificate (First or Second position at State/National or International
level in the last two years). (iii) O level certificate from any institute which has DOEACC accreditation.
(c)
Candidates in the Final Year of Mandatory Education Qualification. The candidates who have given exam of State/Central board and awaiting results, be allowed to appear for recruitment for all category, provisionally on production of requisite certificate, signed by appropriate authority stating that the candidate has appeared in the said exam being conducted by the State/Central Board and that the results are awaited. The candidate if selected for enrolment will be finally enrolled and dispatched only on production of the requisite authority for having obtained the education qualification for the said category.

8. Physical Proficiency Test (PFT). Grouping for the 1.6 Km run for all category (Sol GD incl IDG of all UP & UK, Sol Tech, Sol Tdn, Sol Clk/SKT & Sol NA) has been changed. The candidates will be selected in only two groups. The revised marks allotted for each groups are given out as under :-

Rally Programme

9. This prog will undergo a change on completion of the Online Registration. The date and trade mentioned in the Admit Card is the final date on which the candidate can appear for run. Candidate will be allowed to run only on the day which is printed on his admit card. No candidate will be allowed to run without his admit card.

Medical Examination.

10. Medical Examination of candidates are as under:

(a) Medical Examination of candidate who are found fit in Physical Fitness Tests, Physical

Measurements Tests and Documentation (certificates) will be conducted on the next day at the rally site.

(b)
Candidates declared medically fit are allowed to sit in CEE.
(c)
Those candidates declared medically unfit they can appeal against the decision of the Rtg MOs and candidates have to report within 14 days to Military Hospital, Agra.

11. Bonus Marks / Special Concessions.

(a)
Son of Serving Soldier (SOS), Son of Ex Servicemen (SOEX), Son of WarWidows (SOWW), Son of Widow (SOW) Categories (One son only). 20 Bonus marks will be awarded as applicable to the category applied for. BENEFITS UNDER THIS CLAUSE ARE NOT APPLICABLE TO CHILDREN OF NAVY AND AIR FORCE PERSONNEL.
(b)
Sportsman. Bonus marks will be awarded to the sportsman / candidates as

per their level of representation who have represented in single / team events :

(i) Represented Indian at International level - 20
Marks.
(ii) Represented state at National level - 15 Marks.
(iii) Represented District at State level & earned 1st & 2nd position - 10 Marks.
Marks (iv) Represented University Team or Regional Team - 05
at District level & earned 1st & 2nd position

Note : Sports certificate should not be older than 02 years.

(c) National Cadet Corps (NCC).

(i) NCC A and B Holders. 05 bonus marks for NCC A and 10 bonus

marks for NCC B certificate holders will be awarded to all the selected candidates. This will be applied for all categories of Personal Below Officer Rank for the purpose of improving the candidates overall placement in the merit list.

(ii) NCC C Cert Holders. All aspirant candidates who possess NCC C certificate seeking enrolment for Sol GD/Tradesman and fulfill all otherlaid down criteria will be exempted from written exam but they are alsorequired to be present at CEE site. The candidates will be exempted fromwritten test only after showing their NCC C cert at CEE site. As far as remaining categories i.e. Sol Clk / SKT/Tech/NA is concerned, 15 bonus marks will be awarded for the purpose of improving the candidates overall placement in the merit list.

(iii) NCC C Cert with RD Parade/RD Contingent. Candidates who are NCC C cert holders and have participated in Republic day Parade/Republic day Contingent Parade will be exempted from CEE for rect into Sol Clk/SKT, Sol Tech and Sol NA cat and will be awarded 100% marks in lieu of CEE. However, they are required to be present at CEE site. Thecandidates will be exempted from written test only after showing their RDParade cert at CEE site. Such candidates have to only pass PFT, PMT and undergone other exams to get enrolled.

Note : Only one type of bonus marks whichever is higher will be awarded.

  1. Physical Standards for Outsider Sanctions. Physical Standards for candidates granted outsider sanction will be as per their place of domicile.

  2. Married candidates who are less than 21 yrs of age are not eligible for enrolment. Any candidate below 21 years married to the widow of the deceased brother are eligible for instant enrolment, the case for waiver of the QR will be considered by Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) on case to case basis.

    1. Documents Required (Original alongwith four photocopies) at Rally Site. It is mandatory for the candidate to come to the Rally Site for Run with all necessary documents. Original Documents will be checked on the same day. No extra time would be given to procure any documents.

      1. Degree / 10+2/Intermediate/Metric/SSLC/10th class Sanad, Mark sheet, Transfer Certificate (TC) and Cross List (if applicable).

      2. 25 Passport size photographs from same negative (front pose without cap, both ears visible, Sikhs must wear turban, sharp and clear photograph taken within last six months must be brought and should have the date on which the photograph has been clicked and not attested. Computer generated photographs are NOT acceptable.

      3. Domicile / Sathai Niwas Certificate / Nativity Certificate with photograph and Caste Certificate issued by SDM / DMs office duly affixed with office round stamp on the photograph.

      4. NCC / Sports Certificate (State / National level sportsman) if held.

      5. If candidate appeared and passed as a private student, producing duplicate, handwritten certificates or Mark Sheet then he has to bring cross list (Gazette) duly signed by Principal and countersigned by DEO / Zila Basic Shiksha Adhikari.

class Transfer Certificate to be signed by Principal / Headmaster and countersigned by Distt Education Officer / Zila Basic Shiksha Adhikari. It should have date of birth of candidate.
(g)
Sons of Serving Soldiers, Ex-Servicemen and War Widows desirous for grant of concession are to produce relationship certificate issued by Records Office of their Fathers Regt / Corps, which shows candidates name, relationship, date of birth and reference of DO Part-II duly signed by an officer of the concerned Record Office indicating the full details of the officers personal No, Rank, Name and Appointment. The variation of age as per High School certificate and relationship certificate only upto one year will be acceptable.
(h)
Married / Unmarried certificate duly signed by Vill Sarpanch / Pradhan or Sabhasad.
(j)
All candidates must bring an affidavit as per format Rs 20/-on Non Judicial Paper at the rally site alongwith above mentioned documents. No candidate will be permitted to appear for recruitment without the same.
(k)
A undertaking certificate be obtained from the selected candidates so as to make them aware of curtailment of their Fundamental right while serving in Armd Forces. The certificate will part of enrolment document.
(l)
Aadhar Card, Pan Card and Savings Bank Account.

Note:

* NO BENEFIT / CONCESSION WILL BE GRANTED TO SOS / SOEX / SOWW / SOW CANDIDATES IN CASE OF VARIATION IN DATE OF BIRTH (MORE THAN 366 DAYS).

BONUS MARKS WILL BE GRANTED TO ONE SON ONLY.

* NO BENEFITS OF SOSS / SOEX/SOW/SOWW WILL BE GIVEN TO THE

CANDIDATES IN ABSENCE OF VERIFICATION OF PARTICULARS BY RECORDS OFFICE OR IF ANY OF HIS BROTHER(S) HAS / HAVE ALREADY AVAILED THIS FACILITY.

PART IV

15. Common Entrance Examination (CEE).

(a)
Written Exam. Written exam of Agra Rally for Sol GD, Sol Clk/SKT, Sol Tech, Sol Tech NA and Sol Tdn will be held on 28 Jan 2018 at Agra.
(b)
Negative Marking in CEE. CEE will have negative marking for all category i.e Sol GD, Sol Tech, Sol Clk/SKT, Sol NA and Sol Tdn. The following marking system will be implemented :
(i)
2 marks for every right answer.
(ii)
0.5 negative mark for every wrong answer to GD Cat.
(iv)
-1 negative mark for every wrong answer to Sol Tech, Sol NA/Vet and Sol Clk/SKT cat.
(iii) 0 mark for answer left blank.
(c)
Warning. Any candidate found cheating during the written exam will be disqualified.
(d)
Merit. Enrolment into the Army will be based purely on the merit list drawn as per instructions and restricted to the extent of available vacancies. More successful completion of screening tests will not confer any right to the candidate to claim enrolment into the Army.
  1. Declaration of Result. The result of CEE will be published in Indian Army Website and thereafter the result will be displayed on respective AROs main office notice board. The dates of collection of call letters will also be displayed on AROs main notice board. The call up letters will be forwarded to candidates after one week of the declaration of results by registered post if not collected by the successful candidates in a weeks time.

    1. Miscellaneous Points.

      1. Recruitment is a free service. Army recruitment cannot be influenced by anytouts or outsider. Dont give money to touts and do not get involved with them. Anyinvolvement with touts will render your candidature null and void. In case any staffmember of ARO or any body else from the Army asking for any monetary gratificationshould be immediately brought to the notice of the authorities.

      2. Candidates are required to report for registration at rally site at 0400 hours as per programme. Token distribution will close at 0800 hours daily.

      3. Claim. The candidates themselves will be responsible for any injury / accident occurred during the recruitment process. The Government of India or the Army authorities will not be responsible for any type of claim.

      4. Fake Certificate. Do not bring fake certificates. Police complaint will be lodged against such candidates and will be handed over to the police.

      5. Get your ears cleaned before medical.

      6. Use of performance enhancing drugs during physical test is not permissible and the responsibility rest with the candidates. Anyone found using any kind of drugs will be disqualified.

        1. A candidate can apply for only one specific category in a particular rally i.e. either

        2. he is a candidate for Soldier General Duty (GD) or Soldier Clerk / Store Keeper Technical (Clk / SKT), Soldier Technical or Soldier Tradesmen. There will be no option to change the category.
      7. Candidates must bring all original docu for documentation. No candidate will get extra days to get original documents.

      8. Permanent Body Tattoos are only permitted on inner face i.e. from inside of elbow to the wrist and on the reverse side of Palm/back (dorsal) side of hand. Permanent Body Tattoos on any other part of the body are not acceptable and candidates will be banned from further selection. Tribes with tattoos marks on the face or body as per their existing custom and tradition will be permitted on a case to case basis.

2. I give an undertaking that all documents submitted by me are correct. All docu issued by govt org/offices have been signed by authorized designated and govt org/offices have been signed by authorized designated and govt officials. If any docu at any stage is 20. All candidates will have to apply online for the Recruitment Rally. The candidates will register themselves by going to www.indianarmy.nic.in which is open from 22 Sep 2017 till 05 Nov 2017. i.e. till 15 days before the rally. From 06 Nov 2017 onwards, all candidates can download their respective admit cards and will have to carry this printed copy to the rally site/venue as per the dates given on their admit cards. For benefits of all candidates the online application procedure is as under:-

PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION & SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION OR ENROLMENT
  1. Type www.joinindianarmy.nic.in in the browser address bar.

  2. Click on Apply/Login link in JCO/OR enrolment.

  3. Registration page will open up, if you have registered earlier, enter your username and password to login or else click on REGISTRATION button for new registration.

  4. An instruction page will open up. Read the instructions and click on CONTINUE button.

    1. Fill up following data for registration as a candidate:

    2. (a) Personal Details. (b) Education Details (c) Contact Details
  5. SAVE.

  6. A one time passward (OTP) will be generated and will be sent to your email ID. Open your email address as given during registation and enter OTP and click SUBMIT button.

    1. You will be directed to eligibility page. Fill up the following data while checking for its correctness:

      1. ARO linking with District and Tehsil. (b) Height (c) Date of Birth i.e. Age-121095.

      2. Marital Status (e) Special Category, if any.

  7. Click On.

  8. Check and validate eligible categories as per your qualification and click on re-level APPLY button.

  9. A webpage with detailed instructions will open up.. Click on CONTINUE button.

  10. JCO/OR application form will open up having following menus:

  1. Click on communication details and fill up your permanent and correspondence address. Click on SAVE & CONTINUE.

    1. Click on DETAILS and fill up following data:

      1. Category. (b) Sports Level Achieved/Sports Achievements.

      2. NCC Qualification. (d) Special Category, if any.

  2. Click on SAVE & CONTINUE.

  3. Click on EDUCATION DETAILS and fill up the details.

  4. Click on ADD button.

  5. On clicking ADD button your updated education details will appear in a table along with SAVE & SUBMIT button.

  6. Click on SAVE & SUBMIT button.

  7. A page will open up with your Roll No Note it down for future reference as it will be used for tracking your application.

  8. You can also check your profile from MY PROFILE in dashboard menu.
