Address issues of stigma and discrimination and rights of PLHA 3. Address issues related to ARV treatment (i. Pre-ART or treatment preparedness exercises, encourage and help in finding guardian support. ii. Explain the details of treatment and its importance, side effects of the ARV drugs and limitations of ART (e.g. issues concerning failure of first line therapy and lack of potions for HN 2 infection at present). 3. Adherence counselling and monitoring, identification of barriers adherence and suggestions (remedies) to remove these barriers. 4. The counsellor should do ill continuing for PLHAS on ART. 5. Formula for calculating adherence of a Patient on ART (adherence of a patient for a particular time period = The extent proportion/fraction/percentage by which the patient adhered). 6. Register patient in the ART centre and till in the patient ID card enter/transfer data in (stacked to) the treatment regimen during that particular time period = (no. of tables/doses actually taken by a patient for a particular time period) = (no. Of tablets/doses the paint should have taken during this same time period) x 100. 7. Provide emotional, social and psychological support t patients and / or direct the patient to the concerned person or organization that can do so. 8. Direct patients to linked or referred centres and departments and assist in palliative and home-based care condoms. 9. Complete the required sections in the recording and reporting tools kept by the ART centre (details are mentioned separately).
