(iv) To provide guidance and leadership in various extension and transfer of technology activities of the institute relating to crop production. (v) To manage training activities of the national and international importance. (vi) To manage and provide guidance in day to day activities of the agricultural operation in the institute farm and to assist Director in the execution of research work and any other duties assigned to him by the Institute / Council.
