Nature of Duties: Assist the Technical Officer in performing HIV-1 viral load testing. Assist in documentation as per operational guidelines. Ensure work output of 8 hours per day for actual test performance and documentation. Ensure maintenance of all samples in sample repository for later evaluation. Ensure confidentiality of specimen at all levels. Share accountability with Technical Officer for every report generated by the lab. Attend all trainings organized by NACO. Meet NACO’s standards of quality assessment/assurance. Participate in National/International EQAS as identified by NACO. Assist Technical Officer in submission of certified statement of expenditure at periodicity defined by SACS. Duration: One year. Venue: ICMR-National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis, No.1, Mayor Sathyamoorthy Road, Chetpet, Chennai – 600 031. Date of Walk-in-Interview Reporting time: 03.07.2019(Wednesday). Reporting time 9.00 AM TO 10.00 AM (Interview from 11.00 AM onwards). All posts are contractual for the duration offered on a short-term engagement on a consolidated salary as detailed against each posts. The appointment is likely to be continued after every specific period of time subject to satisfactory performance of respective P.I of the project and subject to approval of Director to a maximum upto the end of the project. Since the appointment of all the posts are under project funded by different agencies, the incumbents selected will have no claim for regular appointments under NIRT/ICMR or continuation of his/her services in the same project of any other project.
