Job Description: As member of the Top Management of the Company, the incumbent would be expected to contribute for developing strategic approach of the Company as well as strategies for growth of the business of the Company. The key roles & responsibilities shall be: a. Manage and ensure profitability of the Company b. Create and manage a nationwide distribution network for 1. Reaching automotive lubricants and greases to lube shops, spare parts shops, franchisee workshops, multi brand workshops etc. 2. For reaching industrial products to end customers c. Create a brand visibility plan and implement sales promotions activities to support the marketing and sales activities d. Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts and achieve the same. e. Manage tie-ups with competitive and reliable service providers to optimize the operations of the unit. f. Maintain competitive knowledge of Greases & Lubricants Industry to formulate sales strategy. g. Monitor and ensure effective service delivery through respective Department/ Branch Heads. h. Develop and deploy sales techniques – which define project planning, pricing, volume, target customer segment, channels and associates etc. i. Identify and evaluate opportunities of expansion into different geographies and different segments, while actively identifying new clients through exhibitions, secondary research and market visits. j. Liaise with various local bodies (both Govt. & non-Govt.) in order to ensure smooth operations and time bound completion of projects undertaken by the division. k. Lead and drive vendor management and development to support business growth l. Developing capital expenditure proposals for the Company and implementation of sanctioned items. m. Periodically review and ensure that appropriate business processes/ systems, organization structure, manning, deployment of other resources, training and monitoring/ reporting systems are in place to have the key responsibilities for conduct of the business are adequately addressed, some them being: 1. Timely flow of relevant and reliable information/ MIS, on need-to-know basis. 2. Internal checks and balances e.g. internal audit processes are robust and adequate 3. Best practices in regard to quality systems, health and safety and environment issues as relevant to the industry are adopted/ implemented 4. Safety and security of the Company’s installations assets at the units. 5. Protection of the Company’s Intellectual property rights, trademarks and sensitive information. n. Risk evaluation and mitigation/ management steps are adopted including compliance with the Company’s risk management policies.
